Liverpool versus London for culture!
Who wins when it comes to great cultural attractions, London or Liverpool? There’s so much going on in both of them, so it is not a question of quantity. What it boils down to is personal choice.
As with many great English cities, parking is often at a premium and so it is probably best to leave the hire car safely parked up at the hotel leaving you free to enjoy the merits of the public transport systems.
Starting with Liverpool, birthplace of The Beatles and the Mersey Beat. Liverpool was where pop music was at during the sixties. No surprise then, that today music continues to drive the city forward. Music lovers head over without fail once they land in Liverpool to the famous Cavern Club, Lennon’s Bar and Bar Fly.
Compared with Liverpool how does London fair? Well, it has the West End for a start and more music, comedy and theatrical performances within such a small area. London is where to see Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera or where you can enjoy a theatrical performance out in the open air at Regent’s Park. Home of the Royal Opera House, performances can be enjoyed in the atmospheric Covent Garden as well as inside.
