When I graduated from college as a lab technician, I quickly realized that I would need some more specialized training in order to do what I wanted. I decided to enroll in a forensic science program so that I could get a job with a crime lab. My standard degree wasn’t enough, and this additional course work prepared me to complete the very detailed work that takes place in a lab that processes evidence. I was offered a job right after I graduated, and now I’m working in the evidence lab, right where I wanted to be. I can see myself having a great career here!
